Portia - "The Petrus of Spain" as has often been said, premium red wine made from 100% tinta fina del pais (tempranillo) grown on 160 hectares of prime vineyards from vines over 10 years old and with the cutting edge technology of Raul Quemada the young daring winemaker. Protia Prima is aged for 15 months in new French Allier oak and 6 months in bottle, producing an intense ruby red colour, with rich cherry fruits on the nose, well integrated with cedar and spice and on the palate red jammy fruits with a long powerful finish.
